Advisory Disclaimer
An important note on what Sapero is — and what it is not.
Effective date: March 2026
Please read this disclaimer carefully. It clarifies the nature and scope of the services Sapero provides.
Sapero is a thinking partnership
Sapero provides structured thinking partnership — ongoing, cross-disciplinary conversations designed to help clients reflect on decisions, organise their thinking, and develop greater clarity and independence. This is the full scope of what Sapero offers.
Sapero conversations may touch on topics including technology, career, finances, relocation, family decisions, retirement planning, and life transitions. These conversations are for personal reflection and decision-making support only.
What Sapero is not
Sapero is not a regulated professional service. Specifically, Sapero is not, and Richard Masters is not:
- A financial advisor, investment advisor, or wealth manager
- A lawyer or provider of legal advice
- A tax advisor or accountant
- A therapist, counsellor, or mental health professional
- A medical professional or provider of health advice
- A licensed or registered professional in any regulated advisory field
Nothing said in a Sapero conversation, on this website, or in any Sapero communication should be interpreted as professional advice in any of these domains.
Consult qualified professionals
Clients are responsible for consulting qualified, licensed professionals for matters requiring financial, legal, tax, medical, or therapeutic advice. Sapero may help you think about what questions to ask or how to evaluate options, but the professional advice itself must come from someone qualified and regulated to provide it.
Richard's background
Richard Masters brings more than 30 years of experience at Procter & Gamble in strategy, technology, brands, and market development, along with a lifetime of cross-border living and working across 50+ countries. This background informs his perspective and the quality of the thinking partnership, but it does not constitute — and should not be relied upon as — professional advice in any regulated domain.
No guarantees
Sapero makes no guarantees about specific outcomes from conversations. The value of the thinking partnership lies in the quality of reflection and clarity it supports — not in the prediction of results. Clients make their own decisions and bear full responsibility for the actions they choose to take.
Structural independence
Sapero does not sell financial products, earn commissions, collect assets under management fees, or receive referral compensation from third parties. This structural independence is fundamental to the practice, but it does not change the nature of the service: Sapero is a thinking partnership, not a substitute for qualified professional advice.
